Why there is no per-credit price
Most tools in this category bill per verification: a fixed price per claim checked. That model fits single-claim fact-checking, where the unit of work is one statement.
Athena scores behavior over time, so the unit of work is an entity across its whole claim history, and the cost depends on how many entities you track, whether they are already indexed, and how much history exists. Quoting a per-claim price would give you a number that does not predict what you pay.
A pilot is scoped to a named list of entities and a defined diligence question, and the price is fixed before work starts. If you want a number to budget against, the fastest route is to send the entity list and get a scoped quote back.
