Our Mission
Public figures make bold claims every day — about markets, trends, and the future. But credibility isn't just about being right or wrong. It's about how claims are made, maintained, and corrected over time. We built this platform to answer one simple question:
"Who can you actually trust?"

About me
Athena Index is built by Divine Ediebah, a data scientist and PhD biostatistician who has spent 17 years building production machine learning systems.
View LinkedIn profileHe earned his doctorate at the VUmc Cancer Center Amsterdam in 2020. He went on to build and lead the clinical machine learning function at a Fortune 100 medical device company, where he holds two machine learning patents and won the company's SVP President's Award in 2024. He continues that work while building Athena Index.
Clinical research does not accept a claim because it sounds confident. It asks what was predicted, what was measured, and what quietly changed in between. Athena applies that discipline to public claims, which is why the methodology is versioned, the evidence is source-linked, and a score is withheld when the record is too thin to support one.
Why I built it
I lost money listening to people who sounded certain. I trusted confident calls, and I trusted mainstream coverage, without ever checking what happened next.
When those calls went wrong, nobody circled back. The post stayed up, or quietly disappeared, and the next confident claim arrived right on schedule.
Ordinary people get no such grace. Miss a few payments and a credit score follows you for years, priced into every loan you are offered. The asymmetry is hard to defend. The person managing their own money carries a permanent record. The person advising millions carries none.
Athena Index is that record. Not a scoreboard of who was right, but a documented account of how claims were made, revised, and owned.

Athena tracks behavioral patterns over time — whether claims are specific, transparent, consistent, and accountable. A high Athena score means an entity has a strong track record of making falsifiable claims and owning the outcomes.
